Kapitalomat helps import broker data and generate tax insights and calculations. We do not file or submit returns for you.
Outputs are for informational purposes only and are not legal, tax, or investment advice. Consult qualified professionals before filing or acting on results.
Calculations may depend on your personal tax circumstances and elections; you are responsible for selecting the rules that apply to you.
Data verification and calculation limits
Broker reports, imports, and parsed data may include gaps or formatting differences. You must review and verify all imported and normalized data against your source statements.
You must verify every calculation before using it in filings. Results are helper outputs only and may need manual adjustments for your situation.
You remain responsible for compliance with tax authorities, including correcting any parsing or calculation discrepancies.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into contracts and comply with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and promptly notifying us of any unauthorized access.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your responsibilities
You control and are responsible for the accuracy of data you upload or enter into Kapitalomat.
You will verify imports, parsed transactions, and tax calculations before using them in filings or disclosures.
You will not use the service in a way that violates any law, regulation, or third-party rights.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backup copies of uploaded or generated data.
Fees and billing
If paid features are enabled, you agree to pay the displayed fees and applicable taxes.
Billing is handled by our payment providers; charges may be subject to their terms and to currency conversion or bank fees.
We may change pricing with reasonable notice; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Content and licenses
You retain ownership of the data you submit. You grant us a limited license to use that data to operate, improve, and provide the service.
You must have the rights and permissions needed for any data you upload.
Prohibited use
No unauthorized access, probing, or disruption of Kapitalomat or connected systems.
Do not reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except as permitted by law.
Do not upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
Availability and changes
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Parsing quality depends on the source data you provide and may require your validation or correction. We are not responsible for your filings or tax positions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kapitalomat and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our aggregate liability for direct damages arising out of these terms or the service will not exceed the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or zero if you have not paid).
Termination
You may stop using the service and request account closure at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, security concerns, or where required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by nature should survive will continue (including limitations of liability and disclaimers).
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice where possible.
Continued use of Kapitalomat after updates becomes effective means you accept the revised terms.
